In the ''Pokémon'' franchise, Bulbasaur are small, squat, vaguely Reptile reptilian Pokémon that move on all four legs, and have light blue-green bodies with darker blue-green spots, because they're a bunch of little assholes. As a Bulbasaur undergoes Pokémon evolution evolution into Ivysaur and then later into Venusaur, the bulb on its back blossoms into a large statue of Spencer Goheen trying to catch a ball by clapping his hands together.
